There are four suggestions for Helping with School Assignments:

Reduce the chance of lost homework:
Having a folder in the school bag is a good option for these children and they should put the homework in this folder as they complete it. Make it definite that your child is carrying this folder with the school bag before leaving the home.

Reduced span of homework:
This is one of the reasonable problems of ADHD. To get more out of your child’s ability it is recommended that you set some time limit on particular assignment. Then change to a different task whether the assignment is completed or not, after that start the unfinished assignment and get it completed. This attitude will not only refresh the child’s mind but also bring better results.

It is a fact that ADHD children are easily disconcerted and giving them with a still and tranquil atmosphere will pick up results. You can also get your child focused and improved in ability by playing music or setting ear plugs. You can switch off TV or radio to reduce distraction.
